Jonathan is determined to turn his life around but is he capable of change? When a tragedy strikes, will Jonathan learn from his mistakes or lead him into the path of self destruction?
This thrilling, suspense filled novel will keep you engaged and turning the page until the very end. I enjoyed this novel immensely. I kept reading because I needed to find out what happens to Jonathan and his new life. I haven’t read many books from the male perspective. I liked knowing how he felt when he was going through his troubles.Men and women deal with their issues very differently and I enjoyed reading through a mans perspective. I highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys a good page tuner. Click the picture below to purchase the book from Amazon.
Characters to Actors
Johnathan Caine is a wealthy, money hungry man. Someone who goes for what he wants and usually gets it. He’s a very good looking man who knows it. He’s always dressed in expensive suits, ready to face the hard work day. When his life takes a drastic change he goes back home to his ailing father and his 25th class reunion. He befriends Jackie, a woman living the life she always dreaded.
It took me a little time to figure out what actor could play Johnathan the best. I searched and went with Eric Bana. I believe Eric can play both the hard working business man and the at home man, trying to turn his life around. I’ve seen Eric in many movies and enjoyed watching him. He’d be a great pick for Jonathan.
Jacqueline Williams is the former Prom Queen turned wife, who still lives at home with her abusive husband Rick Williams. I see Jackie as a woman stuck in a life she didn’t plan for. She’s a wife and mother trying to make the best out of a bad situation. When she befriends Johnathan after 25 years, she’s the happiest she’s ever been. When I searched for an actress, I wanted a beautiful strong woman. Someone who’s brave and can face tough situations. I decided to go with Christina Hendricks. I’ve seen her in Mad Men and she played a strong woman who didn’t take crap from anyone.
Rick Williams is the last main character I decided to go with. Rick is a terrible, terrible man. He’s an abusive drunk and I couldn’t stand him from the beginning. I needed an actor that could play a bad guy someone you’d love to hate. I first thought, Viggo Mortensen but then I found out he’s 20 years older than Christina, so that wouldn’t work. So, I decided to go with Christian Bale. He’s a great actor, and I know he could play this part very well.
